Dreams travel with us. This documentation, consisting of nine photographs, explores the ironic liminal state of the journey—how our external reality seems momentarily suspended while our internal world, our dreams, become more vivid than ever.
The crossing from shore to shore places us in a sort of existential limbo; a moment suspended between ‘here’ and ‘there.’ It is a state caught between consciousness and illusion, between desire and the stark realization, which comes with hope or disdain, that whatever awaits us on the other side may not differ at all from what we just left behind, at departure.
In analyzing this concept, we perceive that our dreams travel with us, but so do our fears. This leaves us facing a crucial decision: to confront or to deny our shadow side. Should we succeed in befriending our shadows, the journey culminates in a beautiful arrival: a profound, unstable awareness.
